Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, calls for making an Inventory of the Nursery Schools

 

It was declared by V. Lytvyn in the course of the Malyn nursery school №1 visit.

 

According to his words, today more then 50% children of preschool age attend nursery schools. "Even in Malyn town, there is a waiting list for nursery school entrance", - V. Lytvyn declared.

 

It is necessary to make an inventory regarding nursery schools availability and probably it is essential to return previous status to these establishments that were transmitted to tax inspectorates and private structures, the head of the parliament proclaimed. V. Lytvyn emphasized the necessity of proper nursery schools equipment, "as modern children are going to live in information society and there would be a great demand of knowledge concerning modern technologies, computers etc."

 

On St. Nicolas Day Volodymyr Lytvyn visited two nursery schools in Malyn town, made presents for children (laundry washer and refrigerator).

 

In the course of the conversation with the journalists, V. Lytvyn stated that he had received an excellent present an opportunity to speak with the children. He repeatedly made the point that it was extremely important to make everything possible to support the nursery schools in Ukraine as "usually they exist only because of the parent assistance and teachers´ enthusiasm."

 

At the same time the Head of the Parliament announced that in the course of the holidays it is necessary to speak not only about children. V. Lytvyn reminded that for today wage arrears comprise UAH 1 billion 700 million and according to his words in general it concerns young active part of the citizens with children. V. Lytvyn is convinced that one of the vital tasks is this problem solution.

 

In Malyn town, V. Lytvyn also visited St. Michel´s Church and in the course of the conversation greeted the residents with St. Nicolas Day.
